berry, bird, buttons

September 16, 2011 § Leave a comment

Some little badges I’ve made for various birthdays using various bits of felt (the stuff on the top right is my own, the rest is synthetic and shop-bought) and hand embroidery.

The lovely mother-of-pearl and shell buttons on the bottom right came from an antique shop in Hay on Wye, Herefordshire, which I can’t for the life of me remember the name of. Very lovely though; a wonderfully weird selection of clothes, shoes, odds and ends, bits of old sheepskin, scary dollies with cracked faces and rolly glass eyes, and battered brown suitcases.
